ReplyDeleteI would say high tea too we don't have that here
ReplyDeleteI loooove these prints!!! Having just travelled to Europe this summer, we spent 3 days in London, and I would have to say that the double decker buses are classically British!!
ReplyDeleteThose prints are very fun. When I been in London, I ate fish and chips and love all the cookies.
ReplyDeleteQuirky and lush indeed! For me, something typically British is definitely the red post box - oh and the red bus, the red phone box, the black cab....
ReplyDeleteDouble Decker buses and guards with fluffy hats

I think BBC, The Queen, and saying "Cheerio!" (do people really say that or is that just a movie thing?).
ReplyDeletePork pie
ReplyDeleteHigh fluffy hats w/a feather.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the double decker buses and the black taxis. Also Devonshire tea. Depends if you are in Devon or Cornwall. They call it cream tea and both have tea, scones and jam and cream. One puts the cream on first and the other puts the jam on the scone first.

I would say riding a bicycle instead of driving
ReplyDeleteI would say tea always being offered in a middle of a crisis...it is the British way of having a drink when things go crazy!!
ReplyDeleteWow - love the bicycle print!
ReplyDeleteAlways had tea at 4 on Sundays with our Grandpa (he was terribly British in outlook!) Lots of sherry and cakes! mumbird3(at)gmail(dot)com

The London Eye
ReplyDeleteA crumpet for sure!
ReplyDeleteThe fabric looks like a Dog’s Dinner: to be dressed nicely or look dapper. Thanks for the fun!
ReplyDeleteI would have to say the double decker buses.
ReplyDeleteI would say royalty- the monarchy.
ReplyDeleteTea cozies . . . I worked with a gal who's mum was British, and I grew up over there, and we discovered our commonality was sheep tea cozies (we both have one!). I haven't seen one over here (US) other than mine.
ReplyDeleteThat and "ta" as both "thank-you" and "bye, I'll see you later" - I sign off my emails with it.
Not sure if I'm a no-reply, but just in case: jhunsberger (at) gmail (d0t) c0m

ReplyDeleteFor me I think of tea and the double decker buses and shepherd's pie.
