ReplyDeleteMine would be called autumn leaves as I love the vivid reds, oranges and yellows of the autumn leaves so I think it would make a great fabric.

I would be thinking, whimsical, daydream, floaty, children, playing, probably call it something inspired by childrens books, nursery rhymes etc

If i was to design my own fabric it would be named "Cassiopeia" and would be a tangle of stars against a plum coloured sky :)

I would love to print my own fabric. totally a goal of mine. 'dreamy lagoon' would be one and have swirls of sea blues and greens with fantasy stylised fish and mer-people.

ReplyDeleteI would name my fabric 'Hexagon till it's gone' - it would be a cheat fabric specifically for 1" hexagons - full of cool blues, lime greens, oranges and white ... hmmm ... might have to open the old paint program!
I'd probably call mine Camelot.
ReplyDeleteI've been too busy watching Merlin recently and visiting pretty castles so I'd have fairytale castles on it, and knights in shining armour, and swords in stones, and queens in nice gowns...
It would be a brill fabric for children (and those who are slightly bigger children lol)

A lovely giveaway, thank you for the competition. Mine would be little traditional ragdolls, perhaps in fuchsia on an off-white background and I would call it "Annabelle" after my daughter :-)

Thanks for the chance to win, Gwen - these are lovely fabrics! Like many of the others on here, I'd love to have a go at designing my own fabric - mine would be something fun and floral, called 'Topsy' I think.

Mine would be "Escher" as I love those Escher style optical tricks and I think they would look wonderful on some fabric, think of all the fun you could have with the illusions when incorporating pleats etc!
